Error code 6237

Cause: This occurs due to an internal error.

Solution: Contact Tally Solutions for assistance.

Failed to Contact TallyServer. (Recv Failed. Error Code: 10054)

Cause: This error is caused by network connectivity issues.

Solution: Follow the steps mentioned below, in the server and client systems:

Go to Control Panel > Power Options > Change Plan Settings .

Select Never from the Turn off the display field.

Check Multiple LAN Card settings:

o Go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change Adapter Settings .

o If a Multiple LAN Card is enabled, prioritize the IP Address in the Tssvc configuration file and save.

Check if Tally.server9 is running in services.msc

Restart Tally.ERP 9.

Incorrect due date for bill No/ledger

Cause: This error message appears while splitting a data, if bill-wise details in a transaction are not saved completely.

Solution: The transaction with incomplete bill-wise details has to be re-accepted.

Open the Tally.spl file available in the Tally.ERP 9 folder and check the bill numbers mentioned.

Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Daybook .

Select the transactions mentioned in the Tally.spl file.

Verify the Bill-wise details in the transaction and re-accept.

Re-start the splitting process.

Tally internal error OODB error (2). Contact tally solutions

Cause: This error occurs when Tally.ERP 9 or Microsoft drivers are corrupted.

Solution: Re-install Tally.ERP 9 in a different folder. Restore the data and check. If the problem persists, re-install Microsoft office drivers.

Memory Access Violation

Cause: This error may occurs when the support for the currency symbol of Indian Rupee is not available in Windows operating system. This error comes only in Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows 2008 Server R2.

Solution:

If you are using an original Windows operating system, download the patch file from the link https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2496898 .

OR

In Company Alteration screen change the Rupee symbol to Rs.

A valid TSS is required to complete this action. Renew TSS and try again.

Cause: This error occurs when your TSS subscription has expired and you try to use a feature that requires valid TSS subscription.

Solution: Renew your TSS subscription , and retry.

7.

Is a valid TSS subscription required for filing E-Returns from Tally.ERP9?

E-Returns can be filed from Tally.ERP 9 even without a valid TSS subscription.
