The following issues were observed if data of a company with Kenya VAT enabled was migrated when Tally.ERP 9 was upgraded from Release 4.93 or earlier version to Release 5.0.
● The assessable value recorded in the VAT Details screen, for overwriting the assessable value calculated in the voucher, was removed from the data after migration.
● The transactions recorded with Import as classification were considered as local since the nature of transaction was not updated as Imports . Also, any transaction with party ledgers without location details were displayed under errors after migration.
Both these issues have been resolved. Upgrade to the latest release, the data migration issues have been resolved in the latest release of Tally.ERP 9.
