You can use the e-mailing feature in Tally to send relevant information to interested parties in a fast and efficient way.
To configure e-mailing in Tally.ERP 9
1. Go to Gateway of Tally > F12: Configure > Emailing.
2. Select the required E-Mail Server from the list of Common Mail Servers. The Server Address field displays the SMTP server address and port number according to the E-Mail Server selected.
3. Set the option Use SSL to Yes.
4. Set the option Use SSL on Standard Port to No. The option is set to Yes only if Hotmail is used as the e-mail server. The From and the From E-Mail Address fields are filled by default using the company information.
5. Enter the Authentication User Name and the Password, if required.
6. Select the required Format, Page Size, and Page Orientation field. The E-Mail Configuration screen appears as shown below:
7. Press Ctrl+A to accept.
