Resolving the exception Unable to determine Service Category in Statutory Report

This exception may occur when service category is not selected during the transactions.

To resolve this exception

1.    Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > Service Tax Reports.

2.    Click the category Unable to determine Service Category.

3.    Drill-down to the ledgers that do not have the service category defined.

4.    Select the relevant service category against the ledger as shown below:

5.    Press Ctrl+A to accept.
