Why is the option Captive Consumption removed from the list of Nature of Removal in invoice from Release 5.0?

Until Release 4.9x, in a sales invoice, Captive Consumption was provided in the list of Nature of Removal. The value of the invoice recorded by selecting this nature of removal was displayed in the column Issued for Further Production u/n 67/95 of Daily Stock Register.

As per the excise department, the breakup of sale and self-consumption of manufactured goods is not required. Hence, from Release 5.0, Captive Consumption was removed from the list of Nature of Removal in the invoice. As the sale is not categorised as captive consumption, the column Issued for Further Production u/n 67/95 is blank in the Daily Stock Register.

In the upcoming releases, the nature of removal Captive Consumption will be reintroduced. This is to cater to the increasing demand for this feature from various businesses engaged in manufacturing.
