If any transactions or masters is modified after saving the returns then you need to recompute the returns to have changes in the returns.
From Display > Statutory Reports > Excise Reports > Manufacturer > Excise Forms > Form ER1 > F5: Recompute > F7: Saved as revised or F6: Overwrite.
