To create security controls for Tally.NET User
1. Go to Gateway of Tally > F3: Cmp Info > Security Control > Types of Security.
2. Select Tally.NET User from the List of Security Levels.
3. Press Enter to view the Security Levels screen.
o Select Tally.NET User in the Use Basic Facilities of field.
o Enter 0 as the Days allowed for Back Dated vouchers.
o Press Enter to skip the field Cut-off date for Back Dated Vouchers.
o Enable Set/Alter rules for Print Before Save?, if required.
o Set Allow to override tax details?, as required.
o Set Allow company to connect, as required. It is set to Yes if the system administrator wants to remotely connect to the Tally.NET server.
o Set Use Tally.NET Authentication, as required. If it is set to Yes, then the user can log in remotely with Tally.NET User capabilities.
o Assign Disallow the following Facilities, as required.
o Assign Allow the following Facilities, as required.
The Security Levels screen appears as shown below:
4. Press Ctrl+A to accept.
Security controls are thus set for the Tally.NET User.
