Multi-Part printing is the concept introduced in Tally.ERP 9 which splits the entire printable into parts when the line does not fit the specified page width. Each part is identified with an alphabet and associated to the respective page number. Each page can have parts commencing with the alphabet A and ending with Z, in case the number of parts for a page are exceeding the alphabet Z, the fresh parts commence with a combination of alphabets AA, AB, AC……AZ, BA, BB, BC…..BZ and so on.
Printing a report with multiple parts commences by printing all the pages for part A, , i.e., 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, …….nA, followed by printing all the pages for part B and then prints all pages for part C and so on. The diagram below depicts the multi-part printing sequence:
To print specific parts of the report, select the required report that you want to print
Click P: Print or press Alt+P
Click G: Page Nos or press Ctrl+G
The Page Range to Print screen appears
By default the Page Numbering start from field is set to 1
In the Page Range field enter the required page numbers or parts to be printed. E.g.: 1B to All to print all pages and parts commencing from 1B (1B……nB, 1c….nC,……….) where n is the ending page number.
