Synchronising Data

To synchronise data

1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Import of Data > Synchronisation.

2. Select Synchronise All to synchronise data for all the client rules created.

3. Select Synchronise Selected to synchronise data for selected rule.

2. Press Enter to start data synchronisation.

After data synchronisation, a message appears in client system's calculator pane, as shown below:

A similar message is displayed in the server company's calculator pane.

Alternatively,you can synchronise data on the Gateway of Tally using the following buttons:

• O: Synchronise: Press Alt + O to synchronise data for all sync rules.

• Y: Sync Selected: Press Alt + Y to synchronise selected sync rules.

Sync Status Messages

The progress status of synchronisation appears in the calculator panel as:

• Sync. Start

• Sync. End

• Synchronising Company "ABC" for Rule "XYZ".

• Activate rule in server

The Synchronise All option is used to perform synchronisation, and also to send and accept the sync rule created by the client. You can use the Synchronise All option for:

• Sending client rule to the Tally.NET Server, after creation.

• Accepting and receiving the client rule sent to the Tally.NET Server.
