Creating Group with Service Tax Details

While creating a group with service tax details, you can either define

To create a group with service tax details

1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Accounts Info. > Groups > Create.

2. Enter the Name.

3. Select the required group from the List of Groups.

4. Enable the option Set/alter service tax details.

5. Select the required Service category from the List of Service Categories or create one below by selecting Undefined.

   1. Enter a Name of the service category.

   2. Enter the rate of Service tax.

   3. Enter the rate of Education cess.

   4. Enter the rate of Secondary education cess.

   5. Press Enter.

    

The Service Category Creation appears as shown below:

6. Press Enter.

The Group Creation screen appears as shown below:

7. Press Enter to save the details.
