CA discount is an offer to Chartered Accountants of India from Tally Solutions Pvt Ltd., on Tally ERP 9 Gold Edition. As per the MOU between ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) & Tally, 80% discount* on TallyERP9 Gold Edition will be provided to CA’s as a special offer.

Process Flow for purchasing CA license online
● Full-time practicing CAs/CA firms are eligible for this Discount on Tally.ERP 9 Gold (Multiuser License)
● CA associated with the Firm is eligible to avail license on Firm Registration Number (FRN) for Head Office (HO) and one license for each registered Branch Office (BR) of the firm with the ICAI.
● CA may request for discount in Individual Capacity on Membership Number (MRN), only when CA is not associated with the Firm.
● This offer is not applicable for CAs/CA firms who have already availed a Tally license under any special CA schemes from Tally.
● This special priced license is meant for usage at the CAs office and not for Clients or customers of a Chartered Accountant as the same is non-transferable in nature.
As per the MOU signed on 6th Nov 2019, below are the rules applicable:
● 80% discount is applicable for the purchases made before 30th June 2020, post which a 50% discount is applicable.
● 80% discount on Tally.ERP 9 Gold continues to be applicable for CAs setting up practice newly (who have enrolled for practice on or after 1st January 2018) to encourage them in the beginning of their professional journey.
● 50% discount is applicable on Tally Software Services (TSS) renewals for licenses purchased under any special CA schemes from Tally.

● CA might encounter error message Data Provided is not valid or Licence already procured while trying to apply for the CA discount.
● Any such error or request to procure additional license for the Branch Office registered with ICAI/any other exceptions should reach to TallyCare at support@tallysolutions.com through e-mail along with screenshot for further validation.
L1 Team need to validate whether required document is attached or not (i.e., "Member Card" and "Firm card" downloaded from ICAI “Self Service Portal” (SSP)). If available, escalate to L2 Experts – Portal & Backend Team for further validation.
L2 Team will validate the issue on case to case basis and will reply appropriately to the stake holder.

Case: 1 - “License already allocated” message while purchasing - Additional license Request

We understand that you have already procured the license under CA Discounted Scheme against your MRN("XXXX") associated with the firm "XXXX". Hence, the system is not allowing you to procure the license.
However, if you wish to procure the additional license for the firm, kindly confirm us the branch details along with the "Member Card" of CA in-charge of the branch and "Firm card" downloaded from the below link in order to validate and process the request accordingly.
Note : As per our policy additional license to a firm will be issued only when the firm has any branch office registered under ICAI.
